Network Architect

Network Architect:

Pay Range: $80/hour to $90/hour 

We are urgently looking for a Network Architect for our client; the selected candidate for this role can handle the following duties and responsibilities: 

• OT security, (Operational Technology) security
• VeloCloud, SDWAN or other SDWAN vendor product experience.
• Migrating from one SDWAN vendor product to another.
• Familiar with Python and PowerShell for scripting
• Azure Cloud
• 3rd level support as needed, experience with ServiceNow ticketing a plus
• Offer network suggestions and recommendations in a supportive, non-intrusive way.
• Remote troubleshooting of routers/switches

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance.
• M&A experience, they are adding 1 company they have bought to their network every two months
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, VPN, and routing protocols (BGP).
• Expertise in network security concepts and best practices (firewalls, IoT, network segmentation).
• Proficiency in network management tools and monitoring systems (SolarWinds, Cisco Prime).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cloud networking (VeloCloud), SDWAN.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 15 + years of hands-on Network Engineering with the last 5 years doing Network Architecture work.
• Must have Enterprise Network experience for companies with 4k employees or more.
• Master's degree in Master's in IT, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with network performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of data center design and implementation.
• Experience with network security incident response.
• Proven track record of successfully planning, deploying, and optimizing complex network architectures.
