We are seeking a Network Automation Engineer to join our team in the Orlando area to work with enterprise client. This is a hybrid role requiring regular on-site presence at client, so candidates must be local to Orlando or willing to relocate.
This engineer will play a key role in building and deploying network automation capabilities from the ground up. You ll work hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista platforms, leveraging tools like Ansible and Python to design and implement scalable automation frameworks. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering expertise with the ability to influence network design and architecture as our automation program matures.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement network automation solutions using Ansible, Python, and related tools.
Build automation frameworks and workflows from infancy stage, driving adoption across the engineering team.
Deploy, configure, and optimize networking platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
Collaborate with network architects, engineers, and operations teams to ensure automation integrates seamlessly into existing and future environments.
Provide technical guidance on automation best practices, CI/CD, and network infrastructure evolution.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to network design standards where appropriate.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in hybrid, multi-vendor environments.
Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in network engineering with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Arista.
Proven experience with network automation frameworks, particularly Ansible.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and integration.
Experience designing or contributing to network architecture (preferred).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code concepts (nice to have).
Certifications such as CCIE or JNCIE are strongly preferred but not required.
