Akkodis is seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a contract with a client in Plano, TX(Remote). This role requires hands-on experience in automating large-scale network environments using Python, Ansible, and Arista EOS.
Rate Range: $35/hour to 37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Automation Engineer job responsibilities include:
- Design and implement automation frameworks and playbooks using Python, Ansible, and Arista EOS to provision and monitor large-scale network topologies.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and ensure high-quality deployments.
- Develop reusable modules and device classes for scalable network configuration and validation.
- Build monitoring dashboards and telemetry systems using tools like Grafana, Splunk, and cloud-native solutions.
- Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root cause analysis, and publish actionable bug reports.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver secure, self-service automation platforms and maintain performance, availability, and scalability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in network automation, DevOps, or software engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Ansible, and Arista EOS for building scalable automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab), cloud services (AWS), and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
