Location: Hybrid onsite in Columbus, OH
W2 Candidates only - No Corp to Corp and no 1099
Projected 24 month contract
Pay negotiable depending on experience
About the Role
As a Network Engineer in this contingent assignment, you'll support the design, automation, and optimization of network infrastructure that powers reliable, scalable, and secure connectivity. You'll work on moderately complex engineering initiatives, contribute to large-scale planning efforts, and collaborate closely with internal teams and client partners to deliver high-quality network solutions.
This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with network automation tools such as Ansible, and a solid understanding of routing, switching, and load balancing technologies. You'll evaluate and resolve technical challenges involving multiple variables while applying established policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

- Contribute to planning and execution of large-scale network engineering deliverables, including automation and configuration management using Ansible.
- Review, analyze, and troubleshoot network challenges across routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing platforms.
- Support the resolution of moderately complex issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams and client engineering personnel.
- Apply a strong understanding of network engineering functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Implement and maintain network automation workflows to improve consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Provide technical insights and recommendations to enhance network performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
