Job Details

Location: Oak Ridge, Tennessee (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months with FTE Conversion
Pay Rate: $60/hourly on W2

Our client, a leading organization in the scientific and technological sector, is seeking a Network Admin - Engineer to join their dedicated team. As a Network Admin - Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the Network Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Support the setup, testing, and documentation of network changes within a production environment.

Coordinate with various teams during the start-to-finish phases of new network site projects.

Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical solutions to ensure high-performance connectivity.

Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure upgrades and security enhancements.

Maintain accurate technical documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration records.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

At least 7 years of relevant experience in network administration and engineering.

Proficiency with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, DNS, DHCP, and Cisco routing/switching equipment.

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Azure networking, and hybrid network architectures.

Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Microsoft AZ-700, and AZ-104 are required.
