Job Details
Role: Network Engineer
Location: Boston, Ma
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure network architectures for enterprise environments.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Check Point.
- Deploy and manage F5 Load Balancers for high availability and traffic optimization.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis of network infrastructure.
- Define and enforce network security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and security teams to ensure secure connectivity across environments.
- Monitor network performance and security events, and respond to incidents.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network security posture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Cisco ASA firewalls
- Check Point firewalls
- F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers (LTM, GTM)
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Experience with network monitoring and security tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, Splunk).
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
