Job Details

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, monitor, and optimize lab networks and virtual lab services.

  • Configure and manage switches (Arista, Juniper, Cisco, Dell) and firewalls (Palo Alto).

  • Handle Layer 2/3 configurations (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP) and DMZ/firewall rule management.

  • Manage PXE boot environments, Infoblox IPAM/DNS/DHCP, and NCM for configuration compliance.

  • Implement network authentication (802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS).

  • Lead automation using Python/Bash/Perl.

  • Plan and maintain lab infrastructure (racks, cabling, power) and collaborate with architects/vendors.

  • Support production and pre-production systems, troubleshoot issues, and enhance lab capabilities.

Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years in enterprise networking; 6+ years with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, OpenStack).

  • Strong in Arista EOS, Juniper JunOS, Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Palo Alto, and Infoblox.

  • Solid understanding of routing, switching, high availability, and security protocols.

  • Experience with automation, monitoring, and SDN; knowledge of cloud networking (AWS/Azure).

  • Familiar with Linux/Windows, storage networking, and basic database admin (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and adaptability skills.

  • Occasional on-call and limited travel (~5%).
