Position: Network Project Manager II
Location: Bloomington, MN
Onsite Requirement: Hybrid
12 Month initial contract, potential to extend up to 30 months
Description:
Location: Local to Bloomington office
Hybrid schedule - in office Tue-Thu, remote Mon/Fri
What you'll be doing:
You will work with a team of Project Managers, Equipment Engineers, and Construction Engineers supporting our small cell, in-building, temporary deployment, and site improvement projects. You may also work closely with other Network teams such as RF Design, Real Estate, Transport, Operations, and System Performance to support the implementation of new technologies and services to meet project milestones.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Manage, organize, and maintain capital project-related documentation.
* Assist with the procurement process, including preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and engaging vendors.
* Prepare and format project status reports, documentation and presentations relevant to assigned capital projects.
* Assist with data entry and management in capital project management software and databases.
* Monitor, follow up, and drive resolution of outstanding issues on network and financial KPI reports
What we're looking for:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic Engineering and Construction team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our equipment and construction engineers, with a focus on helping manage project documentation, reporting, procurement, and communications to ensure the successful build and upgrade of cell sites and network infrastructure.
You'll need to have:
* Associate degree or three or more years of work experience.
* Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Proactive and resourceful problem-solver.
* Basic understanding and/or experience in the telecommunications industry, including familiarity with common terminology (e.g., RF, fiber, civil, tower, DAS).
Even better if you have:
* Knowledge of cellular network architecture.
* Knowledge of Ericsson base station equipment.
* Knowledge of backup power systems used in the telecommunications environment.
* Familiarity with technical drawings and construction terminology
