Description
We are looking to onboard a local Network Security Design Lead at Harley-Davidson in Plano, TX. This role will start out as a 3-6 month contract with the intention of becoming a permanent employee, as this is open headcount on their team. They just announced a return to office 3x per week at the corporate office located on Plano, TX starting in Jan 2026, so we will need to find a local candidate that is open to going onsite 3x per week starting next year (and also onsite in the meantime when required for project work).
The client is looking for a high level Network Security Design Lead that has really solid Design/Engineering skills with Cisco ISE. They already have ISE in their environment for the past 5+ years, but they are coming up on some critical modernization work this year and next related to ISE. They also leverage Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) in their environment, so they would like to have someone that ideally has engineering experience with this, but also open to seeing any NextGen firewall or even ASA in their history. Ideally also looking for someone with any exposure with Cisco AnyConnect (aka Secure Client) and/or Cisco Umbrella, since these are both existing gaps on their team. The Design Lead role at Harley-Davidson is basically the most high level hands-on role at H-D. They do a mix of design/engineering, project work, issue escalations, and documentation.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
