Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a Network Engineer to work in Fidelity?s Enterprise Infrastructure Group in Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH.
The Role
We are looking for a ?hands-on? Cloud Network and On-prem Engineer. The position will be part of the Network Triage and Troubleshooting Team (NTT), which is responsible for the triaging and troubleshooting of high severity issues that impact Fidelity Investments and our external customers. The issues range from network down devices to application slowness, connectivity problems, Storage issues, network blips etc. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of fundamental networking technologies, network security, software-defined networking, infrastructure as code, extensive experience with at least one CSP.
The Network Triage and Troubleshooting Team is made up of engineers with the philosophy of, we need to identify and mitigate the issue as quickly as possible to provide the best customer experience. If your long-term goal is to have fun with technologies outside of traditional networking like serverless, ML, AI, then we might be able to share in the fun!

The work you deliver will enable and secure the reputation Fidelity has as a top leader in the business and our ability to deliver first in class reliability and uptime for all Fidelity business.
The Expertise and Skills we?re Looking For
10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and architecture
Infrastructure software development and automation skills Python
Proven experience with virtual network and security constructs of AWS and/or Azure
Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCSE Desirable
Network security experience and certifications a plus
Expertise in cloud networking and security constructs (DMZ)
In-depth knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud technologies
Proven in-depth knowledge of IP routing, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and DNS
Knowledge of cloud PaaS service integration
Experience with ITSM practices (Change/Incident/Problem)
Advocate for and practitioner of infrastructure-as-code
Python/Ansible/SDN Programming
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
