Essential Skills
- Database Expertise: You're skilled with NoSQL databases and key-value stores like DynamoDB, and you have experience with caching architectures, specifically Redis.
- Core Development: You have a deep understanding of Node.js and TypeScript and can build and design REST APIs and event-driven systems.
- Cloud & DevOps: You have strong experience using AWS managed services, working with DevOps engineers, and building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies.
- Containerization: You have significant experience with Docker and Kubernetes, along with related tools like Helm, Istio, and Argo.
- Monitoring & Security: You're familiar with monitoring technologies such as Splunk, Instana, Datadog, and Prometheus. You also have a solid grasp of software security principles and patterns.
Software Development Lifecycle
- Agile & CI/CD: You have a strong understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies and experience with CI/CD automation tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
- Quality & Documentation: You're proficient in test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks, and you have knowledge of API documentation, especially Swagger (OpenAPI).
