Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced OCI Admin Provisioning Services to manage, automate, and operationalize provisioning activities across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with OCI tenancy management, provisioning automation, resource governance, security controls, and enterprise cloud operational frameworks.

This role will lead onboarding, provisioning workflows, automation templates, guardrails, cost governance, and support OCI operational excellence across environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and operate OCI tenant provisioning across multiple environments (Dev, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod).
  • Build and maintain provisioning workflows for:
    • Compute, Storage, VCN, Subnets, DRG, Load Balancers, VPN, FastConnect
    • IAM policies, Federation mappings, compartments, quotas, tags.
  • Automate provisioning using Terraform, Resource Manager, Python, Bash, GitOps.
  • Ensure governance and compliance including:
    • Tagging framework
    • Identity & Access Policies
    • Cost guardrails, quotas, security baselines
  • Support operational workflows including DR planning, patching, lifecycle management, tenant hygiene, logging & monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot provisioning failures, access issues, network misconfigs, and resource conflicts.
  • Maintain CMDB / provisioning metadata, documentation, blueprints, SOPs, and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with security, architecture, and operations teams to improve provisioning maturity and automation.

Required Skills & Experience

14+ years of IT experience with strong cloud administration background
5+ years of hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provisioning experience
Expert knowledge of:

  • OCI IAM, AuthN/AuthZ, Federation, Identity Domains
  • VCN design, DRG, routing, NAT, service gateways
  • Compute, block/object/file storage provisioning
  • Load balancers, DNS, certificates
    Strong automation experience using:
  • Terraform (Required)
  • OCI Resource Manager
  • CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
    Hands-on experience with:
  • Cloud governance / FinOps
  • Resource lifecycle management
  • Logging, Monitoring, Alarms and Notifications

Preferred Skills

  • OCI Architect Associate / Professional Certification
  • Experience with Kubernetes (OKE) provisioning
  • Multi-cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
  • ITIL, SRE, or Cloud Ops governance experience

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to support enterprise escalation handling
  • Experience working in global delivery model (onsite/offshore)
