Job Details

Innowhyte is seeking an experienced OSS Architect to lead the high-level design and implementation of an Operational Support System (OSS) and mediation platform. The role requires expertise in mediation, usage data management, QoS, lawful intercept, and security within large-scale connectivity or telecom environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the high-level architecture and design for OSS and mediation systems.
  • Develop detailed architectural overviews, subsystem decomposition, and integration models.
  • Design mediation solutions including data normalization, usage record ingestion, and billing support.
  • Lead architecture for subsystems such as:
    • Sandvine OSS (Usage Data Records, AAA, DPI, QoS, quota management).
    • Mediation Layer (record processing, billing models, data flows).
    • Lawful Intercept (LIMS integration, RADIUS AAA records, jurisdiction events, traffic handover).
    • Quality of Service (QoS) (end-to-end prioritization across aircraft, ground, and satellite networks).
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure system reliability, security, and compliance.
  • Establish data design, component design, interfaces, and dependencies across OSS ecosystem.
  • Support deployment and monitoring strategies for operational excellence.
  • Produce technical documentation including design rationale, requirements traceability, and system dependencies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in OSS system architecture and design.
  • Strong knowledge of telecom mediation systems and usage data record (UDR) management.
  • Hands-on expertise with Sandvine OSS, RADIUS AAA, DPI, and quota management.
  • Experience with Lawful Intercept (LI) systems, including LIMS/DRS integrations and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven background in Quality of Service (QoS) architecture across complex networks (aircraft, satellite, ground).
  • Solid understanding of security considerations in OSS design.
  • Familiarity with Digital Route Mediation, networking hardware, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
