Job Details

This person will support an application that manages all claims data for Medicare patients. This platform supports reporting across three key groups: Care, Utilization, and Assessment Management, providing insights into various metrics.
Example: Reports may show how coaching a patient reduces hospital time and saves Medicare costs. All data is documented for state compliance.
The platform includes a Member Portal for patients to access information and is expanding to mobile apps for similar functionality.
We are seeking a contractor with deep expertise in monitoring tools and system observability. This person will evaluate the current environment recommend improvements, and help integrate tools into a cohesive ecosystem. Experience with AI-driven monitoring solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate existing tools (Dynatrace, Graylog, Splunk, SolarWinds, Zabbix) into a unified monitoring ecosystem.
  • Create and manage dashboards for system observability.
  • Work with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, etc.).
  • Evaluate and optimize monitoring tools (Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Graylog).
  • Support CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins, QuickBuild, Bitbucket.
  • Manage databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with AWS and monitoring tools (at least two of Dynatrace, CloudWatch, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Graylog).
  • Knowledge of Spring Boot and JavaScript.
  • Expertise in observability and performance monitoring.

This is a Contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
