Job Description

Work may include:

  • Analyzing web content for accessibility
  • Recommending changes to make content accessible
  • Participate in testing efforts and provide testing results to the agency Accessibility Coordinator
  • Collaborate with Agency Accessibility Coordinator.
  • Perform preliminary accessibility assessments with internal and external partners to include testing/validation and completing coordinating reports

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
Years Required/Preferred Experience
4 Required Knowledge of Administrative Code, Department of Information Resources (DIR) EIR Accessibility Policy, and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA related to federal and state accessibility requirements
4 Required Knowledge of industry best practices for accessibility services for digital content and Electronic Information Resources, such as brochures, flyers, webpages, documents, forms, and training materials
4 Required Experience assessing web content and other EIR for compliance with accessibility standards and performing analysis to for remediation
4 Required Knowledge of EIR testing and validation practices and methodology to confirm compliance with accessibility standards
4 Required Experience in identifying functional and technical requirements gathering, analysis and documentation with a strong attention to detail
3 Required Experience with the Microsoft Suite of tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project and SharePoint)
2 Required Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
1 Preferred Awareness or knowledge of DFPS systems and programs.
III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 02/04/2026 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2026. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1192 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
