OpenText Documentum Developer Duration: 6 months Hybrid: 3 days/week, onsite Reston, VA, or Plano, TX, offices
Project:
Our client, a major financial institution, needs an experienced OpenText Documentum developer to help their team extract data from documents, build customer APIs, and handle system upgrades for their critical enterprise content management applications.
Role Description:
The OpenText Documentum Developer will join the development team to provide hands-on technical expertise for the Documentum-based content management platform. Responsibilities will include developing and troubleshooting Documentum applications, implementing REST APIs for external customer integration, and supporting version upgrades and migrations. The Developer will work with D2 configurations, DFC SDK, Spring Boot framework, and AWS cloud services while following agile development practices. This position requires someone who can contribute to code reviews and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on integration projects.

Technical Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience, OpenText Documentum development and troubleshooting
- 2+ years of experience, REST API implementation using Spring Framework
- 5+ years of experience, Java programming
- Python scripting experience (preferred)
- 3+ years experience, AWS Services (EC2, ECS, RDS, etc.)
- Experience with software development practices (unit testing, code coverage, security scans)
- Experience with development tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA, IntelliJ, Tomcat)
- Experience with Agile Scrum practices
