Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Apex Developer with strong expertise in PL/SQL, Power BI, BI Publisher, and GitHub version control to modernize and enhance our legacy applications built on Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will lead efforts in migrating applications to Oracle Apex, integrating modern reporting tools, and ensuring seamless data management and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Modernization: Migrate Oracle Forms/Reports applications to Oracle Apex, improving functionality and performance.

  • Apex Development: Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable applications using Oracle Apex.

  • Database Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, packages, triggers, and views.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Build interactive dashboards/reports with Oracle Apex, Power BI, and BI Publisher.

  • Integration & Optimization: Integrate Apex with Oracle databases, RESTful services, and ensure performance tuning.

  • Version Control & Deployment: Use GitHub (or similar) for version control and implement CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.

  • Documentation & Training: Provide technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer for smooth adoption.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Oracle application development (Apex & PL/SQL).

  • Expertise in Oracle Apex 22.x or later, including Dynamic Actions, Interactive Reports, and RESTful Web Services.

  • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL development and performance tuning.

  • Experience with Power BI and BI Publisher for reporting/visualization.

  • Hands-on experience migrating Oracle Forms & Reports to modern platforms.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Database (12c/19c), SQL, and relational database design.

  • Experience with APIs, RESTful services, JSON/XML in Apex.

  • Familiarity with GitHub, Git, or Azure DevOps for version control.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong background in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms 12c, and Oracle Reports 12c.

  • Cloud deployment experience (Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure).

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for Apex UI customization.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for Apex.
