Currently, we are searching for an Oracle C2M (Customer to Meter) / CCB (Customer Care and Billing) Test Lead to join our team in a 75% remote capacity (Monthly travel to Madison, WI 25%). This role requires in-depth knowledge of Oracle C2M and CCB modules and will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing efforts for various activities including defect remediation, enhancements, patching, integrations, and regulatory updates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for C2M/CCB-related projects (e.g., enhancements, fixes, integrations, upgrades).
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, functional analysts, and business stakeholders to define test scope and coverage.
- Define entry/exit criteria for test phases (Unit, SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance).
- Lead end-to-end testing activities across defect remediation, system enhancements, monthly/quarterly patching, and integration efforts.
- Manage test data preparation and configuration specific to C2M/CCB modules (e.g., customer setup, billing, meter data management, service orders).
- Track, triage, and coordinate resolution of test defects, ensuring timely delivery and minimal production impact.
- Supervise and mentor a team of onshore/offshore QA analysts and testers.
- Allocate testing tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to quality and timeline expectations.
- Conduct test readiness reviews and daily/weekly status reporting.
- Identify and implement test automation opportunities using tools such as Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), Selenium, or Tosca.
- Ensure continuous integration of automated test cases within the development pipeline where applicable.
- Ensure test activities adhere to internal QA standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed documentation including test cases, test results, defect logs, and traceability matrices.
- Act as the primary QA point of contact for all C2M/CCB-related initiatives.
- Provide risk assessments, QA sign-offs, and participate in go/no-go decisions.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work during major releases or production issues.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 7+ years of overall QA/testing experience, with at least 3 5 years as a Test Lead in Oracle C2M/CCB environments.
- Proven experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
- Strong understanding of utility business processes (meter to cash, customer management, billing, service orders).
- Experience with defect management and test case tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models.
- Strong SQL and data validation skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Oracle Utilities product certifications (e.g., Oracle C2M, CCB).
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and performance testing in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with integration testing involving Oracle MDM, MWM, CSS, or third-party systems (SAP, ESRI, etc.).
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance testing (e.g., rate changes, privacy/data handling regulations).
- Regular and predictable attendance
