Position Overview:
As an Oracle CPQ Cloud Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our CPQ & CX offering. You will partner closely with sales and delivery teams and clients to demo, discover, design, configure and deliver CPQ solutions tailored to manufacturing, SaaS and subscription-based business models. You’ll bring deep knowledge of CPQ and CX best practices, integration with ERP systems, and industry-specific processes. You’ll help build the offering, capture new opportunities, and deliver engagements from scoping through go live.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead solution design and architecture for Oracle CPQ Cloud engagements, including quoting, configuration, pricing, renewals, subscriptions, and upsell/cross-sell in target industries.
- Align CPQ & CX capabilities with ERP backbone (e.g., finance, order management, billing systems) and ensure seamless end-to-end quote-to-cash processes.
- Develop industry-specific solutions and accelerators (for manufacturing, SaaS, subscriptions) to speed deployment and drive repeatability.
- Conduct workshops with clients and delivery teams to gather requirements, map business processes, define solution roadmaps, and create functional and technical specifications.
- Configure Oracle CPQ Cloud environments: build product models, rules engines, pricing logic, workflow, document templates and integrations.
- Drive integrations between Oracle CPQ Cloud and CRM, ERP, billing and subscription platforms (via APIs, web services or ETL) and ensure data flows, system performance, and data integrity.
- Lead or participate in POCs, demonstrations, pilot deployments and support business development efforts (pre-sales) with demonstrations, RFP responses and solution proposals.
- Engage in project delivery, guide solutions team, monitor milestones, ensure quality, mitigate risks, and drive successful go-live and hand-over to support teams.
- Stay abreast of Oracle CPQ Cloud product enhancements, CX trends, subscription billing models and industry best practices; share knowledge with the delivery team and contribute to internal enablement.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to building the delivery team by creating internal documentation, reusable assets, and method-ologies.
On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle CPQ Cloud (or comparable CPQ solutions) in a consulting or implementation context.
- Proven track record designing and delivering CPQ solutions in one or more of these industries: manufacturing, SaaS, subscription business models (recurring revenue).
- Strong understanding of quote-to-cash process, configuration and pricing logic, renewals/upsell, and how CPQ ties into CRM, ERP and billing systems.
- Experience integrating CPQ with ERP/back-office systems (finance, order management, billing) and knowledge of integration approaches (APIs, middleware, ETL).
- Ability to articulate value-based solution demos, lead discovery workshops, translate business requirements into technical designs, and deliver results in client-facing settings.
- Excellent communication skills: able to engage with executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams; fluent in documenting functional and technical specs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a dynamic environment across US and India time-zones.
- Willingness to travel to client sites (as required).
We'd be super excited if you have:
- Oracle CPQ Cloud certification (or working toward it).
- Experience delivering ERP + CPQ transformations.
- Knowledge of Oracle CPQ Cloud integration with Oracle CX or other CRM/billing platforms.
- Prior experience working in manufacturing quoting processes (complex bills of materials, multi-site pricing) or subscription-economy businesses (recurring revenue, usage-based pricing).
- Experience in contributing to offerings: creating accelerators, internal training, sales enablement materials.
