Oracle Cloud ERP SME

Job Summary:
With over 14+ years of extensive experience, the Oracle Cloud ERP SME specializing in testing and automation will lead and execute testing strategies for Oracle Cloud ERP implementations. This role demands a seasoned professional capable of leveraging their deep expertise to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP modules.
Responsibilities:
Test Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with Oracle Cloud ERP implementation projects.
Plan and execute various testing phases, including system testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
Test Execution and Automation:
Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring coverage of Oracle Cloud ERP modules and business processes.
Drive the development and implementation of automated testing scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Continuously improve and optimize testing automation frameworks.
Defect Management:
Lead the identification, documentation, and resolution of defects and issues discovered during testing.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure prompt and effective defect resolution.
Performance Testing:
Design, execute, and analyze performance tests to assess and optimize Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion applications' scalability and responsiveness.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
Facilitate UAT sessions, collaborating closely with end-users to ensure Oracle Cloud ERP meets business requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
Generate reports summarizing testing progress, identified issues, and resolution status.
Mentorship and Leadership:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior testing team members.
Act as a subject matter expert, sharing knowledge and best practices with the broader project team.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align testing activities with project timelines.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of testing objectives and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline).
Over 14+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Cloud ERP SME with a focus on testing and automation.
Proven expertise in developing and executing automated testing scripts, with a strong understanding of testing frameworks.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP modules and their interdependencies.
Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Oracle Cloud ERP certifications related to testing and automation are highly desirable.
Track record of successfully supporting testing and automation engagements in large-scale Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.

- Understand and analyze modules in scope for test automation.
- Review the existing artefacts Business Requirements Documents, Configuration Documents, Setup documents, Test Scenarios / Test Cases/ E2E workflows
- Understand functional/ technical/ business process flows of each module and ensure there are detailed test steps for all the business scenarios
- Collaborate with Business Users on Configuration, Extension, Modification, Localization, Integration, and test data needs
- Responsible for validating the business flows in applications.
- Review failed test cases and perform initial triage of failure during execution and maintenance phase.
- Provide guidance/recommendations on test and/or validation design.
- Review Oracle Quarterly Release Notes and provide Impact Assessment to client outlining Oracle Release Changes that could/will impact their implementation.
