Job Title - Oracle Cloud Functional Analyst
Contract to hire after 6 months
Location NYC
Hybrid 2-3 day s a Week
This position serves on a team of Oracle Cloud subject matter experts working on the implementation and post go-live support of the Core HR & Compensation modules within the Oracle Cloud. During the implementation, this person will be responsible for supporting data conversion/validation, various interface and sync strategies, and providing best practice recommendations related to configuration and design. Post go-live this position will provide production support, assist with knowledge transfer activities, test quarterly releases, and help ensure an overall smooth transition process to the software. This role will also provide internal customers such as Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) with the best possible solutions to utilize the system, roll out new functionality, identify potential process improvements, troubleshoot problems, and provide user support. This person will perform other duties as assigned.
General tasks and responsibilities will include:
Provide functional support and configuration expertise to the team for Oracle Cloud Core HR & Compensation
Involved in all testing phases and issue resolution for the project
Perform quarterly release testing
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud is a must with multiple implementations
Partner with HRSS personnel to support business operations and satisfy user inquiries, resolve issues and support applications.
Collaborate with peers and customers to deliver solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and other Requirements:
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Core HR & Compensation modules is required
Implementation of other Oracle Cloud modules is a plus
Experience in PeopleSoft HCM is a plus
Knowledge of Service Now software
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio etc.).
Successfully completed and/or involved in at least three (3) full life-cycle of Oracle Cloud Core HR,Effective collaboration and communication skills as well as an ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to identify problems and determine corrective actions.
Ability to prioritize work and promptly resolve or escalate when necessary and/or Compensation implementations and/or upgrades.
Experience with HR, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Performance Management
