Title: Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits & Compensation Lead


Location: Remote (w/ monthly travel to Miami - all expenses covered)


Client Industry: Professional Services


Compensation: $70/hr. - $80/hr. (11+ month contract + extension)


We have partnered with our client in their search for an Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits & Compensation Lead. This role will lead the end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and delivery of Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) Benefits and Compensation to meet business requirements. Partner closely with Human Resources (HR), Payroll, Total Rewards, and IT to translate functional needs into scalable solutions, oversee data migration and integrations, and enable adoption through training and documentation.


Responsibilities



  • Design, configure, and implement Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits and Compensation to meet business requirements

  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Total Rewards, and IT to translate functional requirements into scalable solutions

  • Lead implementation efforts, including data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system accuracy, data integrity, and compliance

  • Provide post-implementation support and resolve production issues within service-level targets

  • Document system configurations, process flows, and end-user guides

  • Train end-users and stakeholders on system functionality and best practices

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies


Skills Required



  • Hands-on configuration expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM Benefits and Compensation

  • Experience leading end-to-end testing, including test planning, scripts, and defect triage

  • Knowledge of union rules and timekeeping complexities within unionized environments

  • Background supporting HR/Payroll processes in the construction industry

  • Experience with integrations between Oracle Cloud and third-party systems

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines in fast-paced settings

  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database solutions (Oracle Database 12c or higher)

  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and data integrations/ETL


Education & Work Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud implementations

  • Proven work experience as an Oracle Architect or in a similar role

  • Certifications: Oracle Cloud HCM certification preferred
