Job description:
- We are seeking a skilled Oracle Fusion Cloud Testing and Automation Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing test plans and automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. This role requires expertise in ERP or Oracle Fusion Cloud modules, testing methodologies, and automation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the testing team's leadership responsibilities and manage the execution of tests in collaboration with offshore team members.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for Oracle Fusion Cloud modules including but not limited to Financials, (P2P,A2R, O2C, R2R) and SCM.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Opkey, Selenium, or other relevant automation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios, define test cases, and ensure adequate test coverage.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle Fusion Cloud releases, features, and updates to ensure testing activities align with the latest functionalities.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in testing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications with a strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules and functionalities.
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts for Oracle Fusion Cloud using any of the tools such as Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS), Opkey, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data validation and manipulation in Oracle databases.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud certification(s) such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Oracle Cloud Applications (OCA).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
