Contract - 12 MONTHS
REMOTE We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Functional Consultant with a strong focus on the Record to Report (R2R) finance processes. This role will support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of our Oracle ERP system to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient period closures, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Lead and optimize the end-to-end R2R cycle in Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS.
Manage key modules including General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Tax, Intercompany Management, Revenue Recognition, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
Implementation & Configuration
- Configure financial modules such as GL, FA, CM, Tax, Chart of Accounts, ledgers, currencies, and reporting structures.
- Set up Intercompany, Consolidation, and Revaluation processes aligned with business needs.
Testing & Validation
- Develop test cases and perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate journal entries, system reconciliations, and financial reports for accuracy and compliance
Reporting & Compliance
- Build and maintain financial reports using FRS, Smart View, or OTBI.
- Ensure adherence to SOX, GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable standards.
- Maintain audit trails and provide support during internal and external audits.
Functional Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle GL, SLA, FA, CM, and Tax modules.
- Strong experience with period close processes, financial consolidations, and account reconciliations.
- Understanding of AP/AR flows and their impact on GL.
- Experience with Avalara Tax is a plus.
