We're looking for an Oracle Application Express (APEX) developer to join our team to assist with

the design, development & deployment of the Oracle Health applications - all built with APEX.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, confident in their abilities, fast-paced, and lives and

breathes APEX development. Due to the nature of the systems we are developing, requirements

can be ambiguous, and deadlines days away. If that excites you, then this is where you want to

be.

We want to bring order to chaos and develop extraordinary software that provides a far outstanding

user experience, and we're doing this at every step of the way. We're looking for someone that

can complement our development team and expand our capacity to deliver.

You should feel at home with full-cycle design and standards-based development within an

Oracle APEX context, and have tactical knowledge of architectural design, data modeling,

PL/SQL, JavaScript, and general web development technologies. Tell us about it!

Minimum qualifications include the following:

BS or MS degree or equivalent experience

12+ years of application development experience

10+ years of Oracle APEX experience

Experience working with most of the following:

oOracle database

oData modeling

oPL/SQL

oHTML/CSS

oWeb development

oJavaScript

oJSON/RESTful web services

oVersion control (Git preferred, but not required)

oDevOps and Agile development frameworks

oOCI / IDCS

oOrchestration software such as Kubernetes and cloud-native workloads

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with

individuals across the organization.

Strategic planning, implementation, enterprise architectural design, and use case

requirement analysis skills.

Artificial intelligence (machine learning, natural language processing, and/or computer

vision) knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

US: Hiring Range: from $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
