Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient PEP+/BAI Specialist to join our Payments Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of PEP+ (ACH payment platform) and BAI (Bank Administration Institute) file format systems for automated transaction processing. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of electronic funds transfers and financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support the PEP+ payment platform, ensuring accurate processing of ACH transactions.
• Develop and manage BAI files for cash reporting, reconciliation, and treasury management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement payment file standards (PEP+) and ensure successful integration with ERP and banking systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to payment file processing or transmission.
• Coordinate with banking partners to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of financial data files.
• Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and testing of payment-related applications.
• Ensure compliance with NACHA rules, bank-specific requirements, and internal policies.
• Provide training and documentation for internal users and technical teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in ACH processing, payment systems, or treasury operations.
• Strong understanding of PEP+ platform.
• Familiarity with banking platforms, treasury workstations, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with file transmission protocols (SFTP, FTPS, etc.) is a plus
