Job Title: IT PROJECT MANAGER with P&C Insurance Experience

Location: Hybrid 3 Days, Conshohocken, PA; Garden City, NY; Morristown, NJ; New York City, NY; Purchase, NY

These locations will be considered: Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL;; Dallas, TX; Fargo, ND; Houston, TX; Jacksonville, IL; Lenexa, KS; Lubbock, TX; Mt Juliet, TN; Topeka, KS.

Please try and focus on P&C Insurance IT PMs with claims

Application development is most important, Examples could be claims modernization, policy admin system replacement, billing system modernization, regulatory reporting application, if not insurance it could be loan origination system development, credit card management platform, investment portfolio reporting tool, core banking system upgrade.

Must have waterfall

Still waterfall focused HOWEVER, they can have a Agile, Hybrid background as long as they have worked some recent waterfall projects too.

Insurance, Finance or Banking industries are fine, maybe flex but ideally one of these

Software Development project background.

Most important, MUST BE ABLE TO CONFIDENTLY SPEAK TO THEIR BACKGROUND. Not someone who rambles, someone who knows there stuff and has the soft skills.

IT PROJECT MANAGER

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of project management experience for application and data integration projects.
  • Detailed knowledge of project management and software development life cycle methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing mid-sized to large IT integration projects independently.
  • Background in Commercial Insurance desired.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with an ability to effectively manage cross-functional team discussions.
  • Strong management skills with an ability to achieve results in a matrix management environment.
  • Ability to translate business needs into IT deliverables.
  • Possess the ability to successfully apply waterfall, agile, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Multi-disciplinary information technology familiarity with proven systems deployment experience.
  • Experience using Project and Portfolio Management tools (MS Project, Planview, SharePoint, etc.).
