Job Description

Description:

• Represent Pass Comm Technology with Capital Team for all Station upgrade programs. Project Manage the PA Project for current and future station upgrades

• Inventory and manage Pass Comm Capital projects portfolio

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of Capital Pass Comm related projects

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

• Provide guidance to project team throughout project lifecycle to meet applicable business requirements

• Support the development and deployment of project management standards, guidelines and processes

• Report and escalate to management as needed

• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

• Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis

• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in Pass Comm Technologies at NJ TRANSIT

• Proven working experience in project management

• Knowledge of NJ TRANSIT PA system and requirements

• Knowledge of NJ TRANSIT Station signage equipment and systems

• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Access or PowerPoint.

• Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
