Job Title: Payroll Admin

Description:
Overview: The Payroll Admin is responsible to provide accurate and timely payroll processing and reporting. The role ensures compliance with payroll laws and regulations, prepares and processes payroll related information and calculates earnings, adjustments, retroactive payments, etc. and establishes and manages all payroll related work procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily payroll department operations.
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
Understand proper taxation of employer-paid benefits.
Understand garnishment calculations and compliance.
Execute Kronos time and attendance processing and interface with payroll.
Perform compliances for unclaimed property payroll checks.
Process manual checks
Load import files received from Payroll Divisional teams and reconcile in payroll run.
Research and email appropriate audience of file issues
Prepare required divisional payroll reports on a weekly basis to ensure balancing of gross to net.
Research and resolve payroll issues relating to their assigned division(s)
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree and/or three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
Knowledge working with SAP software and other payroll-related Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) such as Kronos
Knowledge in processing in multi-company payroll environments
Strong communication skills written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving.
Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping. May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling.
