Penetration Tester

We are partnered with one of the biggest Medical Schools in the United States that is looking to grow out their security team. They are currently looking for a Penetration Tester to conduct comprehensive security assessments of our infrastructure and applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses. This critical role will help safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive healthcare data and research conducted. You will conduct thorough penetration tests on web applications, networks, systems, and other digital assets to identify security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and weaknesses and perform vulnerability assessments and validate potential security risks. This is a fully remote role that can be done virtually anywhere in the United States. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a Red Team/Offensive Security role
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools and frameworks used in penetration testing, such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Kali Linux
• Strong familiarity with SIEM and EDR technologies
• Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top Ten, and ability to effectively exploit and demonstrate their impact.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security or a related field
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), or GPEN (GIAC Penetration Tester)
• Experience in the healthcare or academic sector, with an understanding of the unique challenges and compliance requirements in these domains
