Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft ERP FSCM Developer to support the State of Texas . This role involves enhancing, integrating, and supporting PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2, with a strong emphasis on Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. Candidates must bring a minimum of 13+ years of overall experience and at least 4+ years working with the State of Texas CAPPS Financials system.
The ideal candidate will have a background in full-cycle ERP development, data conversion (ETL), integration with third-party systems, and technical documentation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required for working with a large, distributed team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and support PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 (AR & Billing)
Perform data conversions and build interface programs (ETL)
Integrate software using Integration Broker (REST/SOAP)
Collaborate with remote team using MS Teams and Jira
Create and maintain technical documentation
Participate in SDLC and Agile Scrum activities
Work with stakeholders across multiple state departments
Minimum Requirements:
13+ years of overall IT experience
4+ years of experience with Texas State Agency CAPPS Financials system
Strong experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 AR and Billing
Hands-on expertise with:
PeopleTools (PeopleCode, App Engine, App Packages, Cobol, SQR)
Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
Oracle SQL/PL-SQL
Linux OS scripting
AWE (Approval Workflow Engine)
Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams)
Experience with:
State of Texas CPA CAPPS Financials
Treasury Offset Program (TOP)
SharePoint and Jira
Scrum framework and STAT migration tool
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a public sector (Federal/State/Local Government) environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Willingness to support occasional off-hours based on project needs
