Job Title: Perl Script Developer
Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)
Mode: Contract
Job Description:
- Looking for 6-8 Yrs of Perl/Shell Scripting development experience.
- Participating in planning the software architecture of new systems spanning multiple teams and platforms
- Unix or Linux command Line
- Deliver high quality, scalable code to solve both tactical and strategic problems.
- Analysis of requirements, high level and detailed design, integration, and implementation activities to support project/service delivery.
- Document design decisions
- Implement software engineering best practices to ensure high quality and efficient development process.
- Support Product Owner in planning of technical tasks & delivery schedule
- Provide leadership and development guidance to a team of Junior Perl Developers
- Working hands-on knowledge of Python skills is good to have.
- Add defensive programming techniques to their mission-critical Perl scripts to avoid failures.
- Should have worked with Onsite and Offshore Execution teams.
- Should have hands-on Agile Methodology experience.
