Epileptologist opening in Baltimore, MD

  • Baltimore, MD - Carroll County, Baltimore County, Frederick County, MD
  • Position Details:
  • Full time employed position
  • Approximately 10-12 outpatient visits per day with 2-4 EMU patients per week
  • Level 3 accreditation with The National Association of Epilepsy Center (NAEC)
  • Nurse Practitioner support
  • Research opportunities
  • Academic appointment
  • Robust, supportive, and well-trained office staff with technical support from 3 other Epileptologists and a Nurse Practitioner
  • Outpatient position with inpatient coverage
  • Call coverage: rotating inpatient for days and nights
  • Qualifications:
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Fellowship trained or experienced Epileptologist
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology
  • Ability to successfully obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictions
  • Current DEA certificate and CDS license
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
