Job Title: Picture Archiving and Communication System Engineer

Position Type: Full-time

Role/Responsibilities

• PACS / Radiology Skill Set Requirements:
  1. DICOM
  2. PACS
  3. Knowledge of various RIS system - like GE PACs, McKesson, Fuji, Radiant
  4. Powerscribe or other Radiology Reporting Systems
  5. Any experience with Radiology modalities (Xray, CT, MRI, US. There, must be an understanding how these modalities works with a PACs system.
  6. Modality Worklist (MWL)- What is it? Why is it important? How is it used?
  7. Understanding of splitting studies, (sometimes, another patient s study is linked to the previous patient because the Tech forgot to end the study)--the person needs to know about this.
  8. Fixing studies that have been started under another patient s name or that has the wrong accession number.
  9. Understanding of bilateral studies, unilateral studies, what does it mean when there is an order for XRAY
