Job Title: Ping Engineer
Location: [Woonsocket, RI][Onsite]
Job Type: [ Contract ]
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ping Engineer.
The ideal candidate will have extensive solution-building experience across various Ping Identity products, including PingFederate, Ping DaVinci, PingOne, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingID Mobile.
This role focuses on engineering rather than operations, and a background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a significant plus. Key Responsibilities Develop, and implement IAM solutions using Ping Identity products such as PingFederate, PingDaVinci, PingOne, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingID Mobile. Develop and build secure and scalable IAM frameworks and solutions tailored to meet business and technical requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with various applications and systems, ensuring seamless authentication and authorization processes. Develop and maintain Cloud-based IAM solutions, leveraging cloud services to enhance security and scalability. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of IAM systems, identifying and mitigating potential risks and vulnerabilities. Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in IAM and security engineering, applying this knowledge to improve existing solutions. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IAM solutions, including design documents, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. A masters degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of overall experience in IAM field. At least 3 years of experience with Ping Identity products, including PingFederate, Ping DaVinci, PingOne, PingAccess, PingDirectory, and PingID Mobile. Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in building and deploying IAM solutions. In-depth understanding of IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and directory services.
Experience with any programming language is a plus (Java preferably). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex IAM issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a plus.
