Ping Subject Matter Expert (SME)

We are seeking an experienced Ping Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in implementing and managing the Ping Identity suite of products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple Ping implementations, with a strong focus on Ping Authorize and related identity/security components.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support identity and access management solutions using the Ping Identity platform.
• Work extensively with Ping Authorize, Ping Identity Gateway (IG/ForgeRock IG), Ping Access Management (AM), Ping Identity Management (IDM), and Ping Directory Services (DS).
• Develop and integrate with the Ping (ForgeRock) SDK to enable secure and scalable identity solutions.
• Lead or support multiple phases of identity lifecycle management, access governance, and policy enforcement.
• Implement and support Blue-Green deployment strategies in containerized environments (AWS EKS preferred).
• Troubleshoot complex IAM issues and optimize performance, scalability, and security of Ping solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, DevOps, cloud engineering) to deliver end-to-end IAM solutions.

• Proven expertise in multiple Ping Identity products:
• Ping Authorize (priority)
• Ping IG (ForgeRock IG)
• Ping AM
• Ping IDM

Ping DS

• Experience developing with Ping (ForgeRock) SDK.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks, standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML), and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Blue-Green architecture in containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes, AWS EKS).
• Prior experience delivering multiple end-to-end Ping implementations.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for IAM deployments.
• Cloud security expertise in AWS and/or hybrid environments.
• Strong scripting/programming knowledge (Java, Groovy, Python, etc.).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
