Role Overview

The in-market BFS (Banking and Financial Services) techno-functional domain expert for PreSales plays a critical role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and business needs. This position requires an individual with deep expertise in BFS processes and technologies, coupled with exceptional sales acumen to drive pre-sales initiatives and support business development efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of the BFS industry, technical proficiency, and the ability to articulate complex solutions to clients. This individual will help design a robust & scalable AI-driven technical solution that solves the clients cross-functional business problems.

Responsibilities

• PreSales: Provide techno-functional expertise during the pre-sales phase to support business development teams in crafting compelling proposals and presentations. Proactive client pitches and proposals, support Key Account growth. Solution support for qualified bids. Assist in developing the win themes.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with sales and technical teams to design tailored solutions that address the specific needs and challenges faced by BFS clients.
• Technical Presentations: Deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
• Technology/Product Solutions: Design AI-driven technology solutions by bringing together HBU leaders and platform partners. Integration of emerging technologies to design a scalable tech solution.
• Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business requirements, pain points, and goals, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of proposed solutions to potential clients.
• Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors' offerings, market trends, and client feedback to refine and improve solution proposals.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and functional specifications.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product management, engineering, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of solutions.
• Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for sales teams and clients to enhance their understanding of BFS solutions and technologies.
• Thought Leadership: Develop thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, case studies, and industry insights, to establish credibility and drive engagement with clients.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Business. A master's degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the BFS industry, with a strong focus on techno-functional roles, delivery operations, pre-sales support.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BFS technologies, such as core banking systems, payment gateways, risk management solutions, and regulatory compliance tools. Advanced knowledge of cloud computing, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications in the BFS industry.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess client needs and design innovative solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Business Acumen: Proven track record in supporting pre-sales activities and driving business development initiatives in the BFS domain.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Relevant industry certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Banking and Credit Analyst (CBCA), or Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA).
• Industry Insights: In-depth understanding of emerging trends and challenges in the BFS sector, including digital transformation, fintech innovations, and regulatory changes.
