About the Role:
The Multi-Classroom Teacher provides day-to-day instructional support across multiple Preschool and Pre-K classrooms at our Stratford School campus, emphasizing in Mandarin vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Each morning, you will report to the campus and receive your assignment based on coverage needs. In addition to classroom teaching, you may support with general student supervision or assist the Principal with campus operations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining instructional continuity and a safe, nurturing environment for our students.

Location: Palo Alto, CA
Hourly Pay Range: $26.00-$30.00
Status: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, Rotates 8:00 AM-5:00 PM / 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Travel: May be required to support nearby Stratford campuses

What You'll Do:

  • Provide classroom coverage in Preschool-Pre-K as needed
  • Follow established Mandarin lesson plans or create new ones for long-term assignments
  • Supervise and engage children to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Support daily classroom routines including nap and snack times
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
  • Communicate professionally with students, staff, and families
  • Assist with administrative or campus-wide support tasks as needed

What You Bring:

  • 12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units), including coursework in:

    • Child Growth and Development
    • Child, Family, and Community
    • Program/Curriculum
      OR a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development
  • Prior experience in a preschool setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English language
  • Must be able to work in the U.S.
