The Role
This Principal Analyst role will support the Global Product Solutions delivery team and will help to enable the delivery of a foundational Digital Assets operating model and platform by providing critical digital subject matter expertise and context around cryptocurrencies, tokenized products, and blockchain technology. The Principal Analyst will be a key contributor to initiatives with diverse scope and complexity, acting as the primary interface between business practitioners, customers, and Agile product delivery teams while applying best-in-class business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies. The Principal Analyst will develop a significant internal voice on behalf of the product area and across the broader Fidelity Fund Investment Operations (FFIO) organization, working with business partners to gather and assess complex requirements, influencing systems and architecture solution design, and translating strategy into executable solutions that deliver value to stakeholders and shape the future of Digital Asset product growth.

The Team
The Business Unit: Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products. These services include calculating and distributing NAVs, distribution rates and yields for a wide
variety of investment products; preparing fund financial documents, dividend estimates and tax returns; monitoring delivery of fund trades to custodian banks; processing corporate actions; collecting securities income on behalf of the funds; reconciling, reporting and moving money in support of fund shareholder transactions; and managing fund liquidity.
The Teams: The Principal Analyst will belong to our Business Analysis Center of Excellence (COE), which is a team of insatiably curious analysts who, together with our squads, apply unique business and technical subject matter expertise to build and deploy financial technology for evolving customer needs. The Principal Analyst will be deployed to the Global Product Solutions domain to enable the delivery of a foundational Digital Assets operating model and platform.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
- A minimum of five years of related experience in Financial Services with demonstrated understanding of investment instruments, financial markets, blockchain technologies, the cryptocurrency regulatory landscape, and the digital asset ecosystem.
- Outstanding knowledge of alternative investments with an emphasis on the operations of digital products including cryptocurrencies, tokens, and requirements related to using a blockchain for recording of capital and portfolio transactions for both registered and pooled investment funds.
- Experience with asset management back-office operations and mutual fund accounting a plus.
- Must be able to analyze complex and ambiguous issues, recommending creative solutions with clear and concise presentations.
- A self-starter and excellent team member who is independent, collaborative, and can work with minimum supervision.
- Proven expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to produce supporting artifacts, such as process flows, context diagrams, UI wireframes, requirements, cross-domain dependencies, and business rules.
- Affinity for data; where to get it, how to use it, what it means.
- Ability to think end to end using analytical and creative problem solving, including gap analysis, resolution and solution design.
- A highly curious and motivated learner with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Communicates clearly, concisely and impactfully to influence others.
