Job Description
Oracle Health is a dynamic and fast-growing division within Oracle, on a mission to transform healthcare with next-generation technology. We're looking for a Principal Front End Architect who's passionate about modern Front-End architecture and eager to help shape the future of conversational, AI-driven user experiences. In this role, you'll design and deliver reusable UI frameworks and voice/LLM components that product teams can adopt out-of-the-box, accelerating innovation across the entire Oracle Health portfolio.
As a technical leader, you'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Agent Engineering to define the roadmap, set the technical vision, and deliver high-impact solutions from concept through sustainment. You'll champion engineering excellence, mentor future leaders, and build scalable, secure, and accessible frameworks that power healthcare's most advanced digital experiences.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.

What You'll Do
- Lead Front-End Innovation - Architect modular, accessible, and high-performance web components and frameworks that fuel multiple product teams.
- Own the Build - Translate product requirements into technical designs, drive features end-to-end, and ensure seamless rollout to production.
- Shape the Roadmap - Partner across functions to align vision, ensure compatibility, and deliver smooth handoffs across releases.
- Raise the Bar - Drive best practices in test automation, performance, and security; ensure compliance with Oracle Health and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Mentor & Inspire - Coach engineers through design reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing to foster a culture of innovation.
- Collaborate & Unblock - Anticipate dependencies, resolve delivery risks early, and orchestrate efforts across multiple teams.
- Drive Reliability - Participate in on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews to strengthen customer trust.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience designing and delivering scalable, distributed, and resilient software systems.
- End-to-end ownership of the software development lifecycle-from design and coding to testing, monitoring, and production support.
- Proven success leading distributed, global engineering teams, providing technical direction, mentorship, and oversight.
- Strong track record in architectural design, strategy, and governance, with the ability to align vision across multiple product lines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project priorities, timelines, and deliverables while staying hands-on technically.
- Experience building platform components, frameworks, or SDKs that were widely adopted across multiple product teams.
- Deep knowledge of microservices, event streaming, distributed systems, and modern system design fundamentals.
- Expertise in front-end frameworks and UI platforms with a focus on performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, and internationalization.
- Experience delivering secure, compliant workloads in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare), including automated audit and compliance controls.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), conversational AI, or voice/NLP pipelines into production systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7) and clinical workflow optimization.
- Recognized thought leader through open-source contributions, published blogs, or conference presentations.
