Job Description:

We are looking for experienced - 10+ years - hands-on Microsoft M365/Exchange Systems Architect/administrator, with excellent communication skills, to deliver innovative capabilities within a large Enterprise. The candidate will be able to identify solutions to automate business process workflow, deploy and support solutions scalable for a Large Enterprise. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is client-focused, team oriented, and can execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement. Experience with Proofpoint or Microsoft endpoint protection is required for this role.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Enterprise level Microsoft Exchange environments
  • (will be working on O365 GCC-H and commercial)
  • Extensive, proven experience deploying and managing Microsoft centric messaging and collaboration platforms, including:
  • Complex on premise MS Exchange deployments
  • Exchange Online (single and multi-tenant)
  • Migrations to MS Teams and Exchange Online
  • Hands-on expertise working in complex infrastructure environments in a highly regulated industry
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft collaboration stack including Office 365, Azure AD, Exchange & SharePoint Online
  • Demonstrable knowledge of migration best practices, tools, and troubleshooting
  • Exchange Server and M365 migration and deployment experience
  • Familiarity with Okta M365 integration and configuration
  • Understanding of e-discovery and compliance processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Hands on experience in complex messaging migration environments, including hybrid O365 configuration
  • Experience conducting and supporting M365 migration, authentication, and identity management
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory services including forest and domain design, policies, trusts, replication, and topology.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS design, topology, and integration with various products)
  • Experience managing and remediating Active Directory, and migrating on-prem AD to Azure Active Directory
  • Proven experiences with Integration of these technologies with various security capabilities including mail gateways, multi-factor authentication, encryption, and e-discovery
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Experience with Quest migration tool and ProofPoint
  • Microsoft Messaging certification is a PLUS

Educational Requirements
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related experience
  • M365/Active Directory

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design, architecture, and execution of our Exchange Online/O365 infrastructure and migration
  • Full lifecycle management of on premise and cloud Exchange environments for both Home Office and external customers
  • Risk, vulnerability, and performance management
  • Collaboration on the vision and strategic direction of the end user collaboration and messaging offerings for internal and external clients
  • Full, detailed documentation of our on-premises and cloud environments
  • Drive the adoption of the broader M365 ecosystem
  • Provide technical leadership during major system outages and perform root cause analysis and corrective action planning
  • Partner across teams to successfully deliver outcomes on-time and on-budget, including technology evolution and M&A integrations
  • Managing the coordinated training, release, and adoption of new platforms, including:
  • Migration timing
  • Communication plans
  • Escalated support requests for high-touch individuals
