Principal Software Engineer | Education Software

We're currently collaborating with a local education program undergoing an exciting transformation. Our client seeks a Senior .NET Engineer to lead their migration to Azure and drive the modernization of their internal systems. As a key member of the team, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing state-of-the-art solutions. Your proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Azure, and API development will fuel innovation and enrich their educational offerings. This hybrid role, based in Boston, MA, offers a balanced mix of remote work and in-person collaboration, fostering an environment where dedicated engineers can excel and contribute meaningfully to the education sector.

The ideal candidate will possess over 7 years of professional experience with C#, .NET Core, Azure, and API development. A degree in computer science or a related field, coupled with experience in application migration and modernization, is highly desirable.
Contract Duration: 6 Months with the possibility of full-time conversion Required Skills & Experience

• Degree or equivalent in computer science, or a similar field.
• 6+ years' hands-on experience, with a strong preference for backend proficiency using C# and .NET.
• Agile methodologies.
• Accessing and retrieving data from RESTful services.
• Azure cloud services
