SDLC Architect - FT - Boston or NYC

Keys to the position:

1. Demonstrated experience standardizing the software development cycle of a firm creating efficiencies.
2. Identify optimal configurations for tool suites like Jira, VSCode, Bitbucket, Sonar, and Jenkins.
3. Prior development experience is a must.
4. Experience working with Github Copilot would be a big +
5. This person can work in Boston/Needham or NYC
6. Will entertain strong Lead or Principal level candidates

QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of modern software development principles, and methodologies
10+ years as a software engineer in application development life cycles
2+ years as a software engineering team lead
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a plus
Expertise in Agile/SCRUM development process
Experience with IDEs for creating software applications (e.g., VS Code, JetBrains, Gitpod, Visual Studio)
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and DevOps practices
Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
Leadership experience in dev engineering and/or site reliability engineering (SRE)
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and IaC tools (e.g., CloudFormation)
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies knowledge (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues


Estimated Min Rate: $126000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $180000.00
