Title: Product Manager

Location: Work Location: Hybrid - 2-3 Days On-Site in Capitol Hill, Washington, DC

Pay rate: $60-70hr

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our agile development team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The Product Manager will play a critical role in guiding the delivery, success, and continuous improvement of digital products and platforms that support institutional goals.

Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and strategy to delivery and iteration.
  • Drive digital product strategy aligned with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Conduct user research, facilitate design consultations, and support product operations.
  • Create and manage detailed product roadmaps, prioritizing features and updates based on feedback and usage trends.
  • Organize and manage product backlogs, user stories, and developer issues using tools like ClickUp and GitLab.
  • Lead and coach teams through Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Refinements, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Demos.
  • Communicate product vision, updates, and performance metrics to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment with leadership priorities and institutional goals.


Experience Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in digital environments.
  • Proven success managing the delivery and evolution of digital products/platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Product Management and iterative delivery practices.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience (High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience).
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration.
