Job Details

As a Product Platform Strategy Lead, in our product organization, you will identify strategic insights to enhance our performance and examine industry practices to identify gaps. You will collaborate with product teams to implement changes and support the Head of Product Portfolio Strategy in influencing senior stakeholders, maintaining strategy, and fostering a strong product management culture. Lastly, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing the product portfolio strategy for our Data & Analytics products, leveraging our unique data assets and the flexibility of cloud services.

Job responsibilities
  • Identify, clarify and articulate problem statements and/or strategic needs; Propose avenues for internal and external research to layout the future roadmap to address strategic areas
  • Identify future scenarios and create a compelling case for one scenario over others; identify strategic levers, option sets, and dominant strategies
  • Benchmarking against best practices in best-in-class product organizations
  • Craft compelling storylines to influence senior stakeholders in technology and business
  • Partner with Finance and prepare business cases that drive change in our organization
  • Present findings and recommendations for action to senior leaders of the company, and support the contributors to do the same for their work
  • Support a strong culture of continuous innovation, rapid iteration, and collaboration across designers, engineers, and product managers. Both cloud, data, and our technology will evolve during the course of this initiative.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
  • 7+ years of full-time professional work experience, plus 5+ years of experience at BCG, Bain, or McKinsey; experience in strategy.
  • Experienced leader of cross product initiatives in complex environments
  • Experience of planning and communication within a Data or Technology business function; expert in stakeholder management
  • Expert in reporting complex initiatives and briefing executives
  • Planning and resource management skills
  • Strong technology background with the communication skills to articulate technical matters to a broader audience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • MBA
  • A good understanding of financial markets, instruments and products; Experience in Private Equity (PE) due-diligence.
  • Solid Understanding of all aspects of the data products, data standards (W3C, RDF etc.), data ecosystem - spanning from data ingestion, data engineering, data quality, usage/consumption, to data privacy considerations and governance in the financial industry
  • 4-5 years of professional work experience in Data Modeling in the financial industry
