Pay Range:$28.41-$40.58 Per HR
Description
Ensure availability and reliability of production applications within a line of business.
Perform daily tasks aligned with key services such as monitoring and incident management.
Provide on-call support and coordinate with various support teams.
Communicate the overall status and health of applications to business lines and management.
Identify areas for improvement in monitoring and application stability.
Participate in disaster recovery and application recovery exercises.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical partners.
Key Responsibilities
Research, triage, and resolve defects and compliance issues.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues using advanced query and programming skills.
Work closely with infrastructure and development teams for software and hardware upgrades.
Restore and triage technical service issues in real-time.
Assess severity, gather impacts, and engage necessary support teams for timely issue resolution.
Communicate effectively with team members and express new ideas and concerns.
Handle incident and problem management tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
Experience with Unix and Shell Scripting.
Experience with databases and data management tools.
Experience in data processing and ETL tools.
Familiarity with monitoring and job scheduling tools.
Understanding of ITIL concepts like Incident and Problem Management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
