Description: Our client is seeking a 2nd shift Server Production Admin responsible for support, escalation, and resolution techniques for incidents.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide support and resolution to interruptions across windows environment, internal mainframe, UNIX and network platforms
- Report and document tasks and tickets
- Escalate Production Incidents if/when necessary
- Perform mainframe IPL's, and other commands when required
- Support transmissions in SFTP/NDM
- Support and troubleshoot UC4
- Provide support for Production Installs
- Maintain all off-site storage records and shipments
- Rerun/Restart failed backups and perform system restores
- Work scheduled overtime when needed to ensure 24 x 7 coverage
- Strong background with Network troubleshooting
- Background and experience supporting operating systems Windows/Unix
- Knowledge of UC4 or Control-M or Automic Automation
- Experience supporting OS390 JCL and IMB Utilities
- Experience working with MobiBrio
- DevOps experience considered a major plus
- Strong communication (written and oral)
- Strong desktop and MS Office skills
