Production Supervisor
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Status: Full-Time | Monday Friday 5:00am-1:30pm

A leading manufacturer and service provider of heat exchanger solutions, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of plates and gaskets for all makes and models of plate heat exchangers (PHE). These systems provide clients with high reliability in heat transfer, lower installation costs, and reduced maintenance, operating costs, wear, and corrosion.
About the Role
As a Production Supervisor, you ll oversee day-to-day manufacturing processes and lead a team of technicians to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to optimize workflows. You ll play a critical role in mentoring staff, coordinating production activities, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met.
- Mentor, train, and provide feedback to production staff to support growth and effectiveness.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols while maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs or upgrades to reduce downtime.
- Track and report KPIs to ensure production goals are achieved.
- Manage component consumption and monitor inventory levels.
- Maintain service job board accuracy and complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison with managers in the absence of the Production Manager.
- Complete detailed service reports and work orders for each job.
- Participate in safety training and certifications (including CPR/First Aid, as required).
- Support other departments through cross-training and collaboration as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
- Previous technician experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite; basic computer skills for data entry and monitoring.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and handle tools/machinery.
- Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping may be required.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures typical of a manufacturing environment.
