JOB DUTIES:
Support and maintain application suite. Resolve issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with other applications and technical resources when resolving a problem or implementing a system change. Update and maintain required systems documentation, following the documentation standards where applicable. Coordinate with other teams and peers to ensure that the system runs and interfaces smoothly. Understand how the application supports business processes and apply knowledge to solve defined business problems. Participate in systems migration planning and execution. Analyze current application process and recommend improvements. Participate in review of high-level design. Develop and sustain a high-level understanding of the competitive energy markets. Maintain proficiency on operational methodologies and concepts. Identify and act upon functional and technical design and system architecture improvements. Update team policies, processes, and workflows for submission to the Production Services Manager. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert providing guidance to lower-level workers. Lead projects, schedule work, train and mentor other employees. Convey team goals effectively. Ensure work assignments are completed in a timely manner and review work product of team for accuracy prior to submitting for management approval. Work on the most complex issues where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and industry best practices.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
Eight (8) years of experience as Computer Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
OTHER:
May telecommute up to 3 days per week from within the State of Texas. #LI-DNP
OFFERED WAGE: $130, 250.00 - $185,571.00 per year
