ASSYST is seeking a skilled Program Manager - Cloud Modernization to support a project in Suitland, Maryland.
The Program Manager will provide strategic project management and business planning support to the Intelligence Systems Product Line (ISPL) within the service center. This role is essential to driving modernization initiatives, ensuring governance alignment, and delivering audit-ready documentation across mission-critical systems.
This role is contingent upon contract award. Must possess an Active Top Secret /SCI Clearance.
Job Location: Suitland, Maryland (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize comprehensive project plans.
- Conduct milestone reviews and coordinate updates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage risk registers and mitigation strategies across ISPL systems.
- Track technical and operational dependencies to ensure program continuity.
- Lead and support governance board participation.
- Align project execution with ISPL s strategic objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
- Oversee development of technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure deliverables meet federal compliance and audit-readiness requirements.
- Monitor performance metrics and develop management dashboards for executive reporting.
- Support budget formulation, tracking, and reporting across modernization efforts.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate cloud modernization, DaaS (Data-as-a-Service), and agile delivery methods.
- Incorporate stakeholder feedback to enhance system capabilities and user experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in program or project management within federal or enterprise environments
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with technical and strategic components
- Familiarity with cloud modernization, agile frameworks, and federal governance structures
- Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
- Must possess an Active Top Secret /SCI Clearance.
Preferred Certifications & Tools:
- PMP Certification (Project Management Institute).
- ITIL Foundations or equivalent.
- Experience with Power BI, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Prior support to DHS, DoD programs.
